1947, Prétat SA company founded by Arthur Prétat and his two sons.
1985, creation of a limited company, under the corporate name Henri Prétat SA. 1992, Felco SA becomes shareholder of the Prétat SA company, the capital is increased from CHF 250' 000 to CHF 420' 000.
1997, Felco SA buy's up the majority shareholder's stock and becomes sole shareholder.
1998, new production center project.
1999, the corporate name Prétat SA, precision forging, ZI, CH - 2952 Cornol is registered with the trade register.
2000, the whole factory is moved from Porrentruy in Cornol in July. Since August 2000, Prétat has occupied its new production plant. On a site of more than 10' 000m2, its covered area of 4' 000m2 with a volume of 30' 000 m3, are designed to comply on all points with the environmental standards in force.
